British Springs: Land Rover Parabolic Springs

British Springs are the only manufacturers of Parabolic Springs for Land Rover Series II and III vehicles in Europe that sell directly to the public.

We have developed a range of Parabolic Springs to give a more comfortable ride both on and off-road for Land Rovers, Daihatsu's, Chrysler Jeeps and other 4x4 vehicles.

SWB Land Rover Series II & Series III

We offer a two-leaf front and three-leaf rear spring (true three-leaf spring, not a 2+1 spring with a loose helper). The kit includes the springs, "U" bolts, nuts and rubber to metal bonded bushes. The load capacity for the two-leaf fronts is 930kg per axle and for our three-leaf rears is 1190kg per axle. We do not recommend fitting two-leaf front and two-leaf rear springs since in our experience this can cause problems if any reasonable load is carried at the back of the vehicle.

LWB Land Rover Series II & Series III

We offer a two-leaf front and four-leaf rear spring (true four-leaf spring, not a three-leaf spring with a loose helper). The kit includes the springs, "U" bolts, nuts and rubber to metal bonded bushes. The load capacity for the two-leaf fronts is 930kg per axle and for our four-leaf rears is 1620kg per axle.
